Dynamic Terrain

Dynamic Terrain is terrain which is malleable in itself. It does not just sit there once placed, but actively changes. Peaks may wear down, or rise up. Valleys deepen or flatten out, rivers carve new courses, and water flows into lowered areas.

Dynamic terrain adds almost immeasurable life and vibrancy into a world, even if it is not actually interactive itself.
