Forward mapping

Forward mapping is a type of spatial transformation, useful for distorting a polygonal object over time. It is simplistic, and as such suffers from many inconsistencies in the final object. Depending on the complexity of the initial object, there may be holes in some parts of the new object ? undefined data ? or areas with too much and conflicting data. This latter occurs when two nodes map to the same transformation point, and produces unpredictable effects with texturemaps.

This book is an attempt to cross-reference the techniques of mapping and charting the physical world, with attempts to chart cyberspace. All of cyberspace, from individual virtual environments, through to the world wide web, as a single cohesive whole, a second world of many worlds, for others to explore, possessing the maps to do so.
