Ultrasonic Trackers Ultrasonic tracking devices are one of five discrete kinds of tracker used for 3D positioning in VR hardware. They consist of three high frequency sound wave emitters arranged in a set formation upon the user. Three transceivers, set perpendicular to each other, surround the user.
