Infrared Tracker Infrared trackers are sometimes called optical trackers. They are one of five discrete kinds of tracker used for 3D positioning in VR hardware. Worn light reflectors are used, together with fixed camears to receive reflected light. If enough are used, it does not matter if some are occluded by body parts.
