Internet of Things

An internet of things is a colloquial reference to a network of embedded computers in ordinary household objects, usually communicating via wireless with each other. It is the basic foundation for a smart house, or sensor web.

The true internet of things in which everything from clothes to furniture, appliances, cars, plants, buildings, are all intelligent, computerised and talking to one another continually, is the very definition of a ubiquitous sensor web.
