MiniMax
Minimax is a class of algorithms and formulae for minimising the maximum possible loss. In other words, it is akin to powergaming in humans. It is increasingly used as an AI form for gameworlds, where the AI always attempts the strategy which results in immediate maximum gain, or immediate minimum loss.
