Natural Language Interface A natural language interface allows interaction using natural spoken, or typed language. This can cause problems with ambiguity - natural language can often be interpreted so many different ways that the computer may do something completely different to what the user expected. This could prove disastrous. Below, we offer a selection of links from our resource databases which may match this term.

Part two of a short series looking at the French film Chrysalis (2007)'s take on Natural User Interfaces. This focusses on a slightly more advanced form of touchscreen display; dealing with video data in such a way as to feel totally natural, even to a non-computer-user.An exotic stranger smiles at you. You approach with a coy ease, looking up and down at the gorgeous visuals this person is putting on, intrigued by the prospect of an intense interaction. You say hi, casually introduce yourself, maybe tell a joke, but there is a problem: This person does not speak your language. Designing round language problems in virtual worlds.
