Neurocomputational View

The neurocomputational view is a view of neurons in the brain, and the nerves of the peripheral nervous system of an organic being as no different than bit states and switches in computer systems – that the entire of the the brain and nervous system of a given individual functions as a computer system. It is a view that holds the sum total of the person is existential, and there is no higher spirit or external part.

As such, the computer system of the body is fully understandable, and interfacable or even interchangeable with sufficiently advanced computer components, such that there is no loss off function or degradation of the individual. It is a view at the core of all attempts of brain-machine integration, and neural interface methods.
