OFF
OFF or Open File Format is a distributed file system in which data is stored in encrypted, randomised blocks scattered across the distributed network. There is no 1:1 copy of the original data residing on any single system.
This is sometimes referred to as a brightnet.
This file format is particularly suited to public virtual environments, as it prevents copyright violations by the simple expedite of no system on the network having a copyrighted file. At best, each has a piece of one, encrypted into unrecognisability except when the whole network is together.
