Rotation

In any 3D virtual environment, the simple act of rotation is defined as turning any object about an arbitrary axis.

All rotations use one or more of the three primary axis X, Y, and Z. If an object needs to be rotated about two or more of these axii, the order of rotation calculations becomes critical, and due to the computationally expensive calculations, specialised algorithms are brought into play.
