Sonic Feedback is an audio signal in response to a given action by the user. It is a central form of interactivity in an immersive environment. Just as important as force feedback, is the perception that when two objects interact, the appropriate sound is heard. Whether it is the sound of a rubber ball impacting on a wall, or the scrape of nails on a blackboard. The sound of feet trudging through sand, or high heels on concrete.
