Spatially Immersive Display SID or Spatially Immersive Display is classed as any display system which utilises panoramic video displays which wrap round the user to create an unencumbered walk-in virtual environment. Typically SIDs are based on Immersive Projection technology or IPD, and use surface projection onto cylindrical, domed, torus or rectangular display systems.
