Spatially adaptive AR
Spatially adaptive augmented reality or spatially adaptive AR is a type of AR application that alters the merged display of physical and virtual data in real-time, or even before the display is returned to the user, in order to compensate for registration errors and artefacts that form on the interaction. In this way, they are always striving for best-fit between the physical and virtual data.

One of the greatest problems with tomography based medical scanners, is what happens when the patient moves (breathes, or pumps blood). The distortion that occurs in each slice has long been correctable, but takes a long time to correct.
