Stereoscopic

Stereoscopic refers to a stereoscopic display, or stereoscopic sound. It is essentially paired sense input, such that each half of the sense whether that sense is sight, sound, smell, balance, or even taste, receives a slightly different input. This helps to localise the input to one side or another, when two sense organs are involved, and increase the immersion.

The other senses, touch and proprioception, aren ot stereoscopic, as there are far more than two sense organs to consider, these belong to a different class entirely.
