Teleconcussion
Teleconcussion is a variety of telemedicine which cases of concussion are successfully evaluated remotely, without a medical practitioner needing to be on-site. Initially created by Neurologist Bert Vargas at the Mayo Clinic, teleconcusion is increasingly being used to give access to a concussion specialist to remote sites, and to greatly reduce the time taken between the head injury and medical diagnosis.
