Telepointer A telepointer is like a pointer, except as the prefix 'tele' indicates, it is remote. Specifically it is a place holder tracking in real-time the object or objects that another user of a collaborative, shared environment has interest in. This pointer is then sent to everyone but the original user, so that others may see exactly what the first person is looking at, and what they are manipulating. The first person meanwhile gets telepointers for all the other users in the simulation. Below, we offer a selection of links from our resource databases which may match this term.
