Topology
Topology refers to mesh-based 3D models, and is the way the individual polygons are meshed together into a 3d grid, with each polygon shaaring a dividing line with each of it?s neighbours, until the mesh encloses a hollow 3D shape. The polygons flow in this topology around the contours of the shape, each flat plane forming part of a curve.
