When you first register for VMK, you receive a warning; the download will take 20 minutes on a ?low speed connection? whatever that is, and 2 minutes on a ?high speed connection?. After some fiddling and multiple downloads, it became clear ?low-speed? is 500k ADSL, and ?high-speed? was a 6-meg line.
