The Dextroscope

The Dextroscope is a holographic imager. Designed primarily for medicare, this heavy duty workstation?s primary purpose is to enable surgeons to view and interact with parts of the patient?s body prior to any physical operation.

The Dextroscope has two main parts: On the right, is a standard computer console, through which different scans are called up, and options and settings played with, to ensure the tight section of flesh and bone is rendered.

On the left, things get much more interesting. Rather than just a display screen, the dextroscope works with shutter glasses, and a gesture recognition system to project a holographic image into the space directly in front of the main console, in full 3D space.
