Sky Vegas: Interactive VR on National Television

British Sky Broadcasting (Sky) is the operator of the UK's largest digital pay television platform. On weeknights they operate Sky Vegas. This is usually a betting show with the chance to phone in via the sky satellite box and remote control, and play to win a prize.

In September 2007 this service changed to become interactive horseracing. A dozen or so horses set off down a track, and cameras track them at each corner, curve and straight as they vie for first, second, or third place and a cash prize for those who bet upon them.
