The Art Models series is three books long and growing. This, the second of the volumes, is smaller than the first, and available in hardback only. Unlike the first book, it shows models of both genders, in a variety of artistic yet practical poses, in full colour and large photos.

Unlike the first book, this one goes into painstaking detail about presenting a variety of body types, and maintains the high quality of the colour photographs. As before, none of the models are of the catwalk variety, all of them are ?average? people, of differing proportions and sizes.

The photos are full colour, and individual body parts are treated to their own photos from a variety of different angles. No more than four photos per page, with little white space between them, ensures an easy to study musculature and body shape.

As before, there is no censorship, and no attempt at modelling for arousal purposes. The poses are all attempts to be helpful, both to artists desiring something to draw, and 3D modellers desiring to see how muscles, tendons and skin stretch in different positions.

As an added bonus over the first book, this one?s companion DVDs, in addition to including the whole book in PDF format, show every single pose presented in the book, from twenty-four different angles in a circle round it, all taken at the same time. This makes converting the very high resolution photos into 3D models a trivial matter, especially given the plain backgrounds they are against.
