Understanding Virtual Reality is essentially a holistic introductory book, covering in a little depth, a wide swathe of issues, applications and advancements in and around the sphere of virtual reality. Using real-world examples from diverse fields, the book makes a case for VR as an increasingly effective and applicable communications medium. It is, essentially, the ideal classroom book to introduce the medium. Very similar in layout to a general ICT book, just dedicated solely to VR.
