This book is of mixed usefulness. Its an official guide, endorsed by the people behind Second Life, and teaches the specifics of setting up a business in Second Life, running with their systems. In that way, it greatly simplifies the task. However, anyone who buys it, expecting tips and trips for the metaverse in general is going to be disappointed. Many of the guides in the book are specifically for Second Life, and simply will not function in other VRs. Of the remainder, most are common sense, and a general book on business management would cover the remainder far more effectively. If however, you are running any business solely within SL, then this is a book for your shelf.
