Digipet is an odd little world. Produced by a firm called Mockworld, we are not sure if the company name suggests they are mocking virtual worlds in general. It was created as a demonstration world for the company's 3D social VR capabilities, but if anything it flags them up as one to avoid. Digipet is a cute, toon-like world, shockwave based. A selection of small villages, two rivers, and a volcano on a small, green island about .9 kilometres square. The world is entirely unpopulated save for visitors logging in, of which it can support sixteen at a time. . There is a choice of three avatars when you first start up. You may have a blue dog, a green alien or a chicken. Selecting either the alien or the chicken will instantly crash the client, so the blue dog is the preferred avatar of visitors. Once inside, you can run around, enter water, look at the pretty houses, and collect floating coins, which give you 100 points each, but you cannot do anything with the points. All in all, it is a mysterious offering, and feels half finished, yet has launched in that state.
