CGI
CGI has two meanings, one in coding, one in animation.
1. Animation.
CGI simply stands for '3D Computer Generated
Imagery'. This is the global term for all computer graphics and modelling.
2. CGI, or 'Common Gateway Interface', is a standard protocol for communicating between types of information - typically between web programs and other internet applications. A typical example of CGI would be outputting real-time information from a virtual world, to a web site.
