Galileo

Galileo is the GPS system run by the European Union. It is one of several separate GNS satellite networks, orbiting the Earth, that can be called upon to deliver real-time geo-location and relatively precise positioning.

Each of the differing GPS systems alone, does not produce precise enough position location for same-l0cation augmented reality use.

The four systems include: BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (China), Galileo (Europe), Global Positioning system (United Stated), and GLONASS (Russia). It is likely that additional networks will be launched by other countries and power blocks as they grow more powerful.
