Area is the textual MUDding term for a map. An area is a collection of mobs, objects and rooms which are grouped together under a common theme or collection of linked objectives. An area might be a city, or a forest, a mountain range, or other similar discrete environment, distinct from its neighbours. An area can also be the inside of a single building.
