Biodegradable Electronics Biodegradable electronics are a novel type of electronic system designed for short-term prosthesis. That is to say, for body implantation to perform a task the body cannot do whilst it heals. Once the tissue is regenerated, or after a set amount of time determined by the precise biodegradable material they are made from, the electronic systems dissolve into the body.
