C5
A C5 is a CAVE based system, using the same highly immersive VR as CAVE systems, although not the same total surround. A C5 improves over a C4 in that not only does it have the four walls, but either the floor or ceiling as well - usually the ceiling is used, as the complication of using the floor would make it imprractical not to go for a full C6.
As a true CAVE system, a C5 is most often run through back-projection, with the walls and roof acting as canvasses for powerful projector systems.
