Continuous Artificial Intelligence A Continuous Artificial Intelligence system of any kind, is a highly complex form of AI by its very nature. It is used when there are an unknown number of ever-changing variables that must be weighed and parsed as they occur. For example, an AI in charge of a car is a continuous AI, as it has to respond to unknown changes in road and traffic conditions from moment to moment. Artificial General Intelligence or AGI is the holy grail of AI research. Instead of expert systems, and image recognition, it refers to common-sense know-how ? general intelligence most humans have when in unfamiliar situations. In other words, the ability of an AI to think and reason as a sentient being, even when confronted by unfamiliar data.
