Cyberpsychology

Cyberpsychology is a very young field of psychological study and research. It deals with all manner of psychological phenomena associated with a specific range of developing technologies. Internet addiction, use and abuse of virtual environments, personality segregation online, cyborgs, and human-artificial intelligence dealings.

In distilled essence, cyberpsychology is an outgrowth of human computer interaction, studying how human behaviour, and the mind itself is altered in the interface with increasingly advanced technology.
