Diphthong
A Diphthong is a phonetic sound, which cannot be easily modelled or virtualised, as it consists of two overlapping sounds together. Diphthongs are phonetic vowels which have two target tongue positions. Thusly, diphthongs are rendered by two separate frequencies.
In English, the word ?same? is a Diphthong, in which the end of the ?a? sound and the beginning of the ?e? sound are vocalised together, something which it is extraordinarily difficult for virtual voice systems such as format frequency synthesis to recreate. Simply concatenating phonetic sounds together cannot form diphthongs.
