Eigenface
An eigenface is a formulaic representation of a human face. They are constructed from templates, which themselves consist of digitized, pixelated lightmaps of ?average? human faces, showing where light falls and shadows form. Any individual?s face can be made up of 10% of average face A, 5% of average face B, etc.
Eigenfaces are often used in the eigenface method of facial recognition.
