An electrofluidic display utilises reservoirs of pigmentation, hidden from display, and a network of biochip-like capillaries behind the screen. When charge is applied, the electropigment races up those capillaries that are also charged. Any channels without charge, attract no pigment, and when the charge stops, ink flows back to the reservoir.
