Haptic Immersive Interface A haptic immersive interface is an interface of any type which completely eclipses the user?s own senses of pressure and texture recognition, together with heat and cold. It would have to be full-body based, or brainstem based, and would place the user?s sense of touch entirely within a virtual body in an otherwise virtual environment.
