Snapping

Snapping is a technique for placing 3D objects within a reality plane. It occurs when a user decides that the object they are moving, should be snapped to the grid that underlies the world. This grid then allows the object to be moved in predetermined increments, and perfectly aligns it to the edges of grid sections.
