Sticky Finger Sticky Finger is an interface term often used with datagloves and other virtual hand interfaces. It refers to the virtual hand being 'sticky' such that anything you touch 'sticks' to your hand, and is carried along with it, until you pick up something else, at which point the original is dropped again.
