Telestroke

Telestroke is a colloquial term for telehealth when it refers to patients who have suffered a stroke, and require assistance such as physio or regular medical check-ups to regain control of their body's functionality.

As such there is no real functional difference between telestroke services and other telemedicine or telehealth services. The name is simply used to differentiate that the patients have suffered a stroke, and so refer to the type of care they are likely to need, rather than the general telehealth umbrella which conveys no such additional meaning.
