Voice Recognition Voice recognition is a branch of HCI obsessed with listening to a given voice, and identifying both its owner individually, and the command the user desires of the computer system. One of the great hurdles is understanding human natural language sufficiently to be able to cope with a range of dialects, slurred and sharp speech, and yet still make out the words and put them in context.
