Wi-Max
Wi-Max, or Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access, is a wireless communication standard, which is theoretically capable of speeds up to 70megabits per second, at ranges up to 50 kilometres.
Actual usage data is of course less than this optimum, but the technology is a vast improvement over Wi-Fi, for wireless interaction.
