X3D
X3D is the 2004 build of VRML (Virtual Reality Markup Language) used to create virtual worlds and 3D models that can be embedded in web pages. X3D differs slightly in syntax from VRML, and is intended as a more commercial, and less hobbyist markup language. The syntax difference is enough that VRML browsers will likely not read it.
X3D is based in XML syntax.
