Mobile Phones For Second Life
This story is from the category Life
Date posted: 04/10/2007
Vodafone's latest service has just gone into beta testing - and it's only available to the odd inhabitants of Second Life. Vodafone Inside Out is an in-game mobile system, letting users call others in-world, and from the in-world phone to a physical world mobile or landline phone.
Once you've picked up a free handset from an in-world Vodafone vending machine, you are allocated your own personal number and away you go.
The service will be free until November 30 2007.
