The Symposium represents the core meeting for the presentation and discussion of scientific contributions in diverse areas related to the main threads within RoboCupSoccer, RoboCupRescue, RoboCup@Home and RoboCupJunior. RoboCup's ultimate goal is to develop a team of fully autonomous humanoid robots that can win against the human world champion team in soccer by 2050. The 12th annual RoboCup International Symposium will be held in conjunction with RoboCup 2008.
