50MP CCD Image Sensor unveiled by Kodak

Eastman Kodak Company has unveiled the world's first 50 million pixel CCD image sensor for professional photography.
The sensor captures digital images with resolution and detail previously unknown in machine vision. It can resolve an object just a foot wide, in a one and a half mile wide shot.
For comparison, a human eye under perfect vision, is about 600 million pixels.
