DetailsOSIRIS, (one of at least four projects to have launched in the same year, with the same name, rather unfortunately) is a project dedicated to improving 2D and 3D projection systems, by pushing the technologies as far as possible, withi a short timespan. Unlike its predecessor, OSIRIS uses a mix of private companies and research institutions, which has made it eligable for EU funding. The project is only just getting underway at time of writing, and no published results are yet out.
