Plot Basics Two

Three years go by. Dillinger goes to work each morning by helicopter, avoiding the streets below. An AI program he did write himself, but which he gave the ability to absorb other people?s programs, and use like bits of itself (sound familiar?), runs the company for him. The MCP, or Master Control Program, basically deals with everything Dillinger is not cut out to do.

Flynn owns and operates an arcade, on the streets Dillinger flies over. After Dillinger destroyed any hope Flynn had of getting another coding job, he ekes out a living from coins the hoards of dedicated fans pour into arcade machines running the games Flynn wrote.

Every night, Flynn writes a new tank program, and every night, he hacks the ENCOM mainframe, looking for evidence to prove Dillinger?s guilt.
