The Cyberscape

In cyberspace, Flynn has lost most of his memory, and only slowly regenerates it. He finds himself immersed in a world of dull tones, flashy energy like neon, where programs ? such as he is assumed to be ? walk like humans upon the data grids, carrying out the commands of the gods in the skies above ? known as Users, collectively.

It is a world at war. MCP has been busy, and any free program not serving him, is a target for de-resolution, or absorption into him. MCP even has the perfect tool for de-resolution.

Flynn emerges into a concentration camp for captured programs, unwanted by the MCP: Forced to play video games against one another, for deadly stages. Video games that seem strangely familiar.
