A neuro-fuzzy system is a type of AI that is hale an artificial neural network, and half a fuzzy logic system. In effect, a neural network operating exclusively on fuzzy logic. The idea is to build a functioning artificial mind. Neural networks have the power of learning and teaching themselves new concepts, but they cannot reason. Fuzzy logic systems have the power to reason problems out but they cannot teach themselves or learn new data ? it has to be programmed into them.
