French development company Nevrax are opening their new MMORPG The Saga of Ryzom, for a special limited playtest from 1st July - 5th July.

They're opening to show off new content in a publicity stunt - namely the area called the Lakelands.

"The Lakelands are the most technically intricate of all the areas in Ryzom due to the large amount of water," explains David Cohen Corval, CEO of Nevrax, "Therefore, it has taken longer to implement, but it is also the most beautiful of the lands. It's a fair trade-off."

After Friday, The Saga of Ryzom goes back into a private beta, to continue working on it, so you have until Friday.
