An increasing focus on AI development is looking to probe the mysteries of the human mind, in order to further the field of artificial intelligence.

The "ESP game" web site, developed by two Carnegie Mellon University researchers hopes to use human common sense to improve search engine AI, by showing how humans classify images, and using that to program software searches.
